These are photos of Rihanna at yesterday’s (tomorrow’s?) Sydney premiere of Battleship. Rihanna wore a Stella McCartney JUMPSUIT. This is not a suit. It’s a onesie. It’s a jumpsuit. In case you had any doubts about Stella being a God-awful designer, here is all the evidence you need. She made Rihanna look like this – Rihanna, with her lovely, slender figure, Rihanna who can wear basically anything. Ugh.
Anyway, there are some nice quotes from various interviews Rihanna has given over the past few days. Yesterday, we talked about Rihanna crushing on Alex Skarsgard, and it seems like she brought Alex up in another interview. Also, Rihanna has a thing for Liam Neeson, which is totally cute, IMO.
Rihanna on Liam Neeson: ‘I fell in love with him when I watched Taken and I was so star-struck, I couldn’t even look at him on set. I just had to shut down completely. Then he asked me for a picture with him to send to his son and I was like, ‘Send me this picture, I want it too!”
Rihanna on Alex Skarsgard: ‘Oh my god, he’s so hot! I mean, I went from gawking at him for hours every time I watched True Blood DVDs back-to-back on tour, then BOOM! He’s on set. I told myself, just breathe, act cool. Basically, I was acting on set and off set!’
On Australia and Aussie boys: “There’s a lot of good food here, a lot of good scenery, I love taking a cruise around the harbour sometimes, the shopping… And the boys. So beautiful.”
On the Navy: “I have only respect for them. They’re real life heroes … These guys are putting their lives on the line for their country.”
On her friendship with Brooklyn Decker: “The fact that we bring two really empowered women to a movie that typically doesn’t show strong, empowered women, is really special for us,” she said.

I like those quotes a great deal. When Rihanna wants to sell something, she’s pretty good at managing her own PR. And I like that she’s a little bit boy-crazy. I’d rather see Rihanna be boy-crazy than see her be obsessed with one douche in particular.
